MESH, an independent, award-winning creative and strategic agency with over 15 years of success, today announces the launch of a new website the firm has created for Greater Baton Rouge Junior Achievement, a nonprofit that inspires and prepares young people to succeed in a global economy. The updated mobile-friendly digital presence will enable the organization to improve communication with volunteers, donors, and teachers, share fresh content from its leaders and provide supporters the clarity they need around the organization’s achievements.
“Our mission is to inspire and prepare local youth for their future careers through cutting-edge experiential learning--our website should reflect that,” explained Paula Dawson, President of Greater Baton Rouge Junior Achievement. “MESH has brought our digital presence to the 21st Century, enabling us to better demonstrate our programs, our mission, and the positive impact we have on our youth.”
The new online presence is built on an updated platform, empowering admins and users alike through a mobile-first redesign, a user-friendly content management system and scalable design principles. An improved user experience makes it easy for stakeholders to find relevant information, donate, volunteer, and get behind the work of Junior Achievement.
“MESH partnered with Junior Achievement in 2016 to provide mentorship and teach courses on entrepreneurship at a local school in preparation for a state-wide pitch competition. After being part of such a rewarding experience, we felt compelled to support the organization in driving sustainable growth and continuing to prepare young people to own their economic success,” said Taylor Bennett, CEO, and Founder of MESH.
Every year MESH takes on a nonprofit client as a pro bono project to give back to the community. In addition to supporting Junior Achievement, MESH is spearheading the branding for the businesses the young people create at the Young Entrepreneurs Academy and has recently supported Friends of the Animals Baton Rouge, and the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Baton Rouge.
Junior Achievement is the world's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future, and make smart academic and economic choices. JA programs are delivered by corporate and community volunteers and provide relevant, hands-on experiences that give students from kindergarten through high school knowledge and skills in financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship.
